As a Production Engineer at Stena Recycling, you will be a key player in the development of one of our most important facilities. Here you will combine technology, improvement work, and long-term development – in an operation where sustainability and modernization are in focus.

About the role

As a Production Engineer, you will work closely with production and be responsible for conducting technical analyses, identifying areas for improvement, and driving development work that increases availability, productivity, and quality. You will collaborate daily with the facility manager, production leaders, and maintenance managers and be a central part of the operations on-site in Halmstad.

Your main tasks

Conduct technical analyses of production processes
Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
Develop and implement solutions that optimize equipment and processes
Analyze downtime and quality deviations
Initiate and drive root cause analyses (RCA)
Drive projects related to modernization, automation, and capacity increase
Evaluate and suggest new technology and digitization that strengthens the facility's development

Qualifications – must-haves

High school education or equivalent
Good knowledge of the Office suite
Swedish and English in speech and writing
Driver's license B

Qualifications – desirable

Post-secondary education in mechanical or production engineering
Experience in downtime tracking
Experience in LEAN or improvement work
Experience in automation or digitization
Previous experience from an industrial environment
